Steel City Salvage Pop-Up Shop

A radio segment aired on Lakeshore Public Radio shared Steel City Salvage’s mission to bring a reclaimed building materials warehouse and community space to Gary, Indiana, and promoted the Pop-Up Shop ahead of the early November event. Eve Pytel, Programs Director at Delta, spoke with Chris Nolte, host of Regionally Speaking, about the materials available for purchase at the event and what to expect. From salvaged tiles to a scraptivity table for kids, the event was anticipated to be a family fun event introducing the Gary community to Steel City Salvage.
