DELTA INSTITUTE ANNOUNCES DEPARTURE OF DIRECTOR OF FINANCE & OPERATIONS

Chicago (July 24, 2015) — Delta Institute is pleased to announce that Kelly Farley has been selected to serve as Executive Director of the Rebuilding Exchange, a Chicago-based reclaimed building materials warehouse that was launched as an affiliate of Delta Institute in 2008. Kelly previously served as Delta Institute’s Director of Finance and Operations and in that capacity worked with the Rebuilding Exchange for several years to help manage their financial operations. She joined Delta Institute in 2010 as an Office Manager and has worked to strengthen and formalize the organization’s operations and financial infrastructure. “Kelly has been a strong and steady force at Delta over the last five years, helping us to become a world-class and financially stable nonprofit institution,” said Delta Institute CEO Jean Pogge. “While we are sad to see her leave, we congratulate her on this well-deserved opportunity and are thrilled to see her take on the role of Executive Director at the Rebuilding Exchange, a strategic partner and member of the Delta Institute family. We look forward to our continued partnership with Kelly and the Rebuilding Exchange, as we work toward our shared vision of a more sustainable Chicago and Great Lakes region.” “I am grateful to Delta Institute for the leadership experience that I’ve gained and to the incredible team at Delta for their partnership and friendship over the last five years,” said Farley. “I know that my new role at the Rebuilding Exchange will bring opportunities for continued partnership with Delta, and I look forward to growing that relationship.” Kelly also serves as Chair of the Green Chicago Restaurant Coalition Board of Directors. Delta Institute has initiated a search for a Finance and Operations Manager.
