Delta Institute Awarded Grant to Help Farmers Reduce Pollution in the Rabbit River Watershed

An article published in MLive announces that Delta Institute and the Allegan Conservation District received a grant of $465,402 from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Great Lakes Restoration Initiative over a three-year period to help farmers implement conservation practices in the Rabbit River Watershed.

Together, Delta and the Allegan Conservation District, will help farmers install best management practices in the watershed while using a pay-for-performance approach which provides a financial incentive for farmers to achieve measurable improvements in water quality.
