October marks 20 years of leadership and “winfinity!”
Join us to toast to Bill Schleizer, as we celebrate the countless ways he’s moved Delta Institute forward over these years.
We are hosting a low-key, cash bar, happy hour at one of Bill’s favorite Chicago haunts, The Green Lady on Lincoln Ave in west Lakeview. #chillvibes #frostymugs #chicagoirishbar
There’s no cost to attend (except for your drinks at the bar), and space is limited–so please RSVP as soon as you’re able.
We’ll lift a glass, enjoy a spread of local finger foods, swap stories and various “Bill-isms”, and, for those brave of enough to stay around and compete, there’s bar trivia at 8pm where you can test your skills against Bill and his team (we all know trivia is one of Bill’s favorite activities! #StevensPoint)
But wait, there’s more!
- We’re collecting lots of “Bill Stories” (even though we have no shortage ourselves)! Please share a favorite memory, photo, or your own favorite “Bill-ism” here.
- Not able to join us? Or wanting to doubly toast Bill’s accomplishments? Consider showing your celebratory support for Bill and the work of Delta with a donation here.
The Green Lady is nearby stops for the #11 Lincoln Ave Bus, the #9 Ashland Ave Bus, and the #77 Belmont Ave Bus. It is one block from the Paulina CTA Brown Line Station, and a nine block walk from the Belmont CTA Red/Purple/Brown Line Station. Public transportation or ride share is encouraged, but for those driving to the event: some free street parking is available in the area, but most of the spots near The Green Lady are metered. Read signage carefully and make sure to keep your meter fed.
The venue is located at street level and is accessible by wheelchair.
Optional donation proceeds from this event support the work of Delta Institute. Please email Sidney Freitag-Fey if you have questions about the event.
