The Northwest Indiana Tree Planting Consortium is offering a free tree planting & maintenance training session for municipal staff & volunteers interested in expanding their urban canopies. This is a credit-earning opportunity (CEU) from the International Society of Arboriculture® (ISA). Space is limited to 40 registrants.

The Northwest Indiana Tree Planting Consortium is offering a mature maintenance training session from 9am – 12:30pm CST on August 9th at the Mascot Hall of Fame.

Details:

This training, hosted by Davey Resource Group, will provide attendees with a basic understanding of mature tree care and maintenance techniques.

  • Indoor portion will occur from 9am – 10:30am
  • Outdoor demonstration will occur from 11am – 12:30pm
    • Required PPE: safety glasses & gloves
