This webinar will dig deeper into the market dimension of agroforestry with a focus on a few of the perennial crops that have the greatest commercial potential. Savanna Institute staff will provide an overview of four promising perennial crops for Illinois and the Midwest, including hazelnuts, chestnuts, elderberry, and black currants. The agronomics, marketing, and commercialization of each crop will be discussed, including opportunities and current bottlenecks. We’ll leave plenty of time for questions about these emergent crops!
