Consider applying to join the volunteer associate board of Delta Institute: the Delta Emerging Leaders (DELs)! The DELs advance Delta’s mission by expanding its network of supporters, donors, and partners through events and initiatives that engage new and diverse audiences. In the past year, the DELs have organized the following events at Delta:
- Green Soap Box 2021: Cannabis Sustainability and Equity in Illinois
- BOOST 2020: Showcasing the Midwest’s Most Innovative Entrepreneurs in Sustainability
- Green Soap Box 2020: Beach Erosion and Community Resilience
We are looking for stellar emerging professionals to join this fun and rewarding associate board for a one-year term beginning in July 1, 2021. We are highly interested in diversifying our board (across gender identity, race and ethnicity, professional background, and geography) and are mostly focused on finding enthusiastic contributors who believe in the mission of the Delta Institute. Applicants from outside the environmental sector are also welcome to apply.
