In Brief: Who we are, and what we do
By 2025, Delta will collaboratively address environmental, economic, and social issues in our home region, impacting more than 500 communities, one million acres, and 100 million captured stormwater gallons. We’ll achieve these goals through our efforts centered on agriculture, climate, water, and community development.
Our Impact: Resilient Agriculture
By 2025, Delta Institute will support 1,000 farmers as they transition to resilient, sustainable, and regenerative practices—thus improving the environment, mitigating the impacts of climate change, and strengthening a farmer’s bottom line; one million Midwestern acres will successfully transition.
Our Impact: Nature-Based Climate Solutions
By 2025, Delta Institute will assist municipalities by integrating natural climate solutions and Green Infrastructure (GI) to reduce climate change impacts through capturing 100 million stormwater gallons and leveraging $100 million in municipal GI investment.
