Our Sustainability and Support Services are intentionally designed to achieve community-led plans and goals, which include a wide array of sectors in which Delta Institute has sizable experience. Delta Institute has worked with more than 300+ partner communities while securing external investment, facilitating projects, and creating practical tools, resources, strategies, and municipal-, county-, and state-level plans.

Community-led Brownfield Redevelopment
Planning and Assessment
Delta Institute uses community engagement and facilitation techniques developed from working with Midwestern communities for over 30 years. We provide technical assistance, assessment, and strategic support for brownfield site re-use, partnering with municipalities, environmental consultants, community groups, and state environmental authorities to gather data, analyze plans, and position members of the local community to inform collaborative and transparent decision making.
Green Infrastructure Installation
Project Management, from Start to Finish
Delta Institute develops and implements Green Infrastructure to reduce risks and costs from flooding, lower water quality, and climate impacts. We use our technical, planning, and engagement expertise to cost-effectively plan, install, and maintain Green Infrastructure that aligns with municipal planning and goals.

Delta is working with farmland appraisal firms, ag banks, and farm financing entities to identify, develop, and implement market drivers that incorporate Soil Health into farm financing to increase adoption of Soil Health practices across the Midwest.
